Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Possess superior interpersonal and strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, handle multiple tasks at one time, meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated with strong leadership abilities and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of operational equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices, staging, retractable seating risers, basketball floors
- Ability to follow written instruction, interpret work order and floor plans
- Able to follow orders explicitly, work as part of a team, work alone if required, and complete tasks including final clean up and properly storing tools and supplies
- Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended work days and extended number of days
Job Duties
- Help with all event changeovers, cleaning and maintenance
- Performs routine to moderate tasks such as handling chairs, staging, risers, and other inventory as needed
- Provide housekeeping services for the facilities
- Assign work activities, monitor work flow, identify and resolve common operational issues
- Maintain an accurate record keeping system for hazardous materials communication program
- Interact with clients, serve their needs within state and local laws, and perform physical facility needs and custodial duties
- Perform moderate to difficult set-ups in a theater setting
- Review, coordinate and execute changeover work plan, facility maintenance and operations
