Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess superior interpersonal and strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated with strong leadership and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of operational equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices, staging, retractable seating risers, and basketball floors
- Ability to follow written instructions and interpret work orders and floor plans
- Ability to follow orders explicitly and work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Ability to complete tasks including final cleanup and storage of tools and supplies
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended work days and extended number of days
Job Duties
- Help with all event changeovers, cleaning and maintenance
- Perform routine to moderate tasks with chairs, staging, risers, and other inventory as needed
- Provide housekeeping services for the facilities
- Assign work activities, monitor work flow, identify and resolve common operational issues
- Maintain an accurate record keeping system for hazardous materials communication program
- Interact with clients, serve their needs within state and local laws, provide physical facility needs and perform custodial duties
- Perform moderate to difficult set-ups in a theater setting
- Review, coordinate and changeover work plan, facility maintenance and operations
