Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in logistics or operations supervision
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to motivate and coach a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel and work varied hours
- Ability to comply with background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Regular and predictable attendance

- Strong written and oral communication skills

Job Duties
- Establish and sustain training and competency of supervisors and associates
- Communicate specific and measurable performance standards
- Interview hourly associates and provide hiring recommendations
- Monitor attendance and productivity and provide coaching
- Motivate and engage associates through recognition
- Supervise logistics operations including delivery, loading/unloading, and dispatch
- Conduct team meetings and assist in new associate training
- Provide relief coverage during absences
- Ensure compliance with operating systems and complete reports accurately
- Track financial metrics such as MPG and damages
- Manage labor hours to minimize overtime
- Align daily management with safety strategies and ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct safety observations and provide safety training
- Understand customer goals and work to exceed expectations
- Identify areas for continuous improvement
- Plan work assignments ensuring effective fleet use
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and safety practices
- Undertake additional projects as assigned
