Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior front desk experience
  • Ability to provide and maintain valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of brand standards and hospitality policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Capable of working in moderate temperature controlled environments
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Availability for varied schedules including training and meetings
  • Maintenance of neat and well-groomed appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Compliance with company safety and operational rules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior front desk experience
  • One to three years supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable of loyalty programs and hospitality industry systems
  • Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
  • Good verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Strong issue resolution and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient guest registration, check out and telephone service
  • Observe front desk agents and ensure established procedures are completed according to policy
  • Maximize hotel revenues through up-sell program and 95% occupancy strategies
  • Observe front desk and guest services to ensure customer service excellence
  • Direct and train staff
  • Participate in hiring process and performance appraisals
  • Review daily arrivals, departures, and VIP reservations to ensure smooth operations
