Job Requirements

  • At least one year of event or related operations experience
  • leadership or supervisory experience required
  • strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills
  • willingness to become forklift certified
  • ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally work at heights up to 22 feet

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate the operations team during setups, events, and tear-downs
  • serve as the primary floor contact for clients, ensuring their needs are anticipated and exceeded
  • ensure event spaces are safe, clean, and guest-ready at all times
  • direct staff in proper use of heavy equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts)
  • respond quickly to changes, emergencies, or client requests with confidence and professionalism
  • maintain the facility's appearance inside and out, from event rooms to Grove Plaza
  • promote a positive, collaborative team environment
