Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge
  • Two to three years of related work experience
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment for long periods
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the assembly team focused on packing items according to customer specifications
  • Monitor work performed to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a fluid schedule of open work items with target start and end dates
  • Work in a refrigerated environment for long periods
  • Assist in training and development of assembly employees
  • Monitor sorting, wrapping, and packing processes according to airline specifications
  • Ensure compliance with government regulatory standards including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP
