Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in personnel management or supervisory role
- Experience in event or venue operations preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service

Job Duties
- Plan, schedule and manage all show-related activities including set-up, tear-down and cleaning
- Ensure all event layouts are set according to event maps
- Identify and communicate any event layout concerns prior to setting the event
- Provide show site support for move-in, floor audits, and move-out
- Develop staffing levels for efficient and timely event set-up, presentation, breakdown and post-event cleaning
- Place orders for rental equipment or show supplies
- Supervise, direct and monitor contracted and LTE staff during events
- Maintain a high level of customer service to all show promoters, exhibitors, and guests
- Provide post-event feedback to improve future events
- Ensure all event areas comply with safety, fire and health codes
- Act as the manager on duty for events
- Hire and manage operations staff including crew leaders, center lead workers, center workers, and LTE general laborers
- Ensure staff and clients understand venue policies and procedures
- Develop pertinent training, policy and procedure documents
- Execute activities involving budgeting, purchasing and human resources
- Manage the operations department budget and purchases
- Work with Deputy Director on human resource issues
