Job Requirements
- b.a. or b.s. from a four-year college or university or two to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- demonstrates customer relationship skills including effective communication with all levels of employees from field to corporate executives
- solid problem solving and multitasking abilities
- experience handling flight operations
- extensive knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
- ability to pass pre-employment 5 years background check
- ability to pass drug test
- ability to pass color vision test
- possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and other FAA/airport required identifications and seals
- able to meet company's attendance and code of conduct standards
Job Qualifications

- strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- comprehensive knowledge of flight operations
- skilled in problem solving and multitasking
- proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- ability to present information effectively to managers, clients, customers, and the public
- solid basic math skills including addition, subtraction, discounts, interest, and percentages
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret technical instructions involving abstract and concrete variables
- maintains a valid state driver's license and applicable FAA/airport identifications and seals
Job Duties
- 24/7 availability to respond to critical airport operational needs
- manage, direct, assign, and support facility operations personnel to complete tasks in a timely manner
- lead safety committee meetings and daily safety briefs
- facilitate training programs and ensure employee compliance
- develop risk reviews and administer the Job Safety Analysis program
- issue daily orders for operations and maintenance
- ensure all scheduled inspections are completed within set timeframes
- collaborate with Maintenance Manager and General Manager to resolve issues and communicate necessary information
- manage software database to ensure timely completion and closure of work orders and tasks
- possess strong knowledge of operations of pumps, valves, fittings, wiring, conduit, and tank gauging equipment
- respond to and direct emergency and spill response activities
- represent the company ethically and professionally
- review records and reports to plan department operations and coordinate equipment service
- enforce safety policies and investigate accident prevention measures
- supervise operations department employees including interviewing, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and ensuring completion of training programs
