Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding or transportation
- Medium proficiency in AS400
- Medium proficiency in Cargowise
- Medium proficiency in McLeod
- Medium proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Leadership skills to manage and develop team members

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage and supervise the operations team to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of products
- Train, coach, and develop operations staff to enhance performance and productivity
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with transportation companies and schedule routes accordingly
- Communicate actively with trucking companies, internal and external customers, customs brokers, sales teams, and vendors to optimize shipment processes
- Analyze and research customer orders to meet needs while minimizing transportation costs
- Supervise daily shipment routes and schedules, tracking shipment progress and managing weekend cartage operations
- Maintain safe working environments by enforcing safety programs and standards
