Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year experience in similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment preferred
- Operations responsibility for 5-10 million dollar wholesale warehouse facility
- Experience supervising a team
- Computer skills including MS Office and inventory management software
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, HVAC supplies, auto parts, irrigation supplies, or similar industrial tangible goods helpful
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

- Must be able to use relevant technology such as distribution software
- Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar warehouse operations
Job Duties
- Review open sales orders, open purchase orders, open vendor claims, and open transfers
- Confer with regional buyers and/or vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
- Oversee inventory, control stock outs, and reduce excessive inventory
- Perform administrative activities associated with warehouse operations and inventory shrink prevention
- Train and ensure assigned employees comply with company, government, and customer policies
- Ensure merchandise is received and stored efficiently and maintain required records
- Supervise routing, loading, and shipment preparation according to customer instructions
- Review and maintain safety, security, and quality process documents
- Oversee branch safety programs and direct safety activities
- Address defective goods/services with quality control personnel and vendors and take corrective action
- Analyze reports and collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency
- Operate within budget and meet delivery schedules
- Support sales staff in achieving sales objectives
- Use distribution and office software such as Prelude proficiently
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other non-essential duties as assigned
