Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
  • review employee shift logs and daily memo books and document relevant information
  • contact appropriate person or department to resolve guest calls, requests, or issues
  • process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, verifying identity, requesting payment, assigning rooms, and issuing keys
  • sell rooms or accommodations to guests without reservations based on availability
  • ensure room rates comply with market standards and document exceptions
  • ensure accounts from various outlets are scanned and posted to guest room accounts
  • assist management in training, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, motivating, and training employees
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • conduct training and obtain safety certifications
  • comply with all company policies and procedures
  • maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality
  • greet and acknowledge guests according to standards
  • anticipate and fulfill guest service needs
  • assist persons with disabilities
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • handle telephone calls following proper protocols
  • build and maintain positive working relationships
  • ensure quality expectations and standards are met
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
