Job Requirements

  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations
  • Skills in guest relations and staff relations, assessing and anticipating special needs of guests
  • Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and issues at one time effectively with an upbeat attitude
  • Ability to read guests and anticipate their needs
  • Ability to turn potentially negative situations into positive ones
  • Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie
  • Special requirements or equivalent certificate
  • High school diploma required

  • College diploma in related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Work directly with the Ops Manager and Security Supervisor to perform day of show duties
  • Respond to all elevated staff and guest inquiries and concerns regarding shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, VIP program, and seat upgrades
  • Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service situations
  • Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure service standards are met
  • Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy
  • Inform guests of Music Hall amenities and make recommendations
  • Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting issues
  • Suggestive selling of all venue products and services when applicable
  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and effectively communicate them to team members
  • Create pre-shift sheet and relay information from management to staff
  • Turn in all lost and found articles to Box Office
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per training and company policies
  • Ensure proper line of sight maintenance by staff at all guest contact points and maintain security of Back of House areas
  • Lead all pre-shift meetings prior to shift start
  • Communicate any guest or team issues to M.O.D.
  • Work with M.O.D. to resolve guest issues, consulting management if needed
  • Complete incident reports and collect witness statements
  • Assist M.O.D. with ejection logs and incident reports
  • Work special events scheduled throughout the venue
