Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous custodial or cleaning experience a plus
  • must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • must be physically capable of performing duties including lifting and moving equipment
  • must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • must be able to operate cleaning and other venue equipment after training
  • ability to work safely in team-oriented and fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a service related field preferred
  • flexibility to work required hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • physical ability to perform job duties including operation of cleaning equipment
  • ability to lift, set and move equipment such as tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items
  • ability to operate two-way radio equipment

Job Duties

  • Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing as well as exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza as assigned
  • prepare facilities for shows including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assigned
  • clean interior and exterior glass
  • use equipment as required upon completion of training
  • clean and prepare floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas as necessary
  • clean and polish furniture
  • dispose of all waste including bulk trash removal from hall and participate in recycling program as required
  • perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
