Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial or cleaning experience a plus
- must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- must be physically capable of performing duties including lifting and moving equipment
- must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- must be able to operate cleaning and other venue equipment after training
- ability to work safely in team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a service related field preferred
- flexibility to work required hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- physical ability to perform job duties including operation of cleaning equipment
- ability to lift, set and move equipment such as tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items
- ability to operate two-way radio equipment
Job Duties
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing as well as exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza as assigned
- prepare facilities for shows including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assigned
- clean interior and exterior glass
- use equipment as required upon completion of training
- clean and prepare floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas as necessary
- clean and polish furniture
- dispose of all waste including bulk trash removal from hall and participate in recycling program as required
- perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
