Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in custodial or cleaning services preferred
- Physical ability to handle manual labor including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Flexibility to work shifts that include nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment after training
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a service related field preferred
- Flexibility to work required hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Physical ability to perform the duties required of this position including operation of cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift, set and move equipment including tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items
- Ability to operate two-way radio equipment
Job Duties
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing as well as exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza as assigned
- Prepare facilities for shows including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assigned
- Clean interior and exterior glass
- Use equipment as required upon completion of training
- Clean and prepare floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas as necessary
- Clean and polish furniture
- Dispose of all waste, including bulk trash removal from hall and participate in recycling program as required
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
