Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform manual labor and operate cleaning equipment
- strong communication skills to follow instructions
- ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- willingness to work in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a service related field preferred
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- physical ability to perform duties including operation of cleaning equipment
- lift, set and move equipment including tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging
- ability to operate two-way radio equipment
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing
- clean exterior areas such as terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza
- prepare facilities for shows by setting chairs, stages, tables and counters
- clean interior and exterior glass
- use cleaning equipment as required after training
- clean and prepare floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas
- clean and polish furniture
- dispose of all waste including bulk trash removal
- participate in recycling program
- perform all other assigned duties
