Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience is an advantage
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Willingness to participate in recycling and waste disposal programs
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a service related field preferred
- Flexibility to work required hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Physical ability to perform the duties required of this position including operation of cleaning equipment
- Lift, set and move equipment including all tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items
- Ability to operate two-way radio equipment
Job Duties
- Performs custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing as well as exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza as assigned
- Prepares facilities for shows including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assigned
- Cleans interior and exterior glass
- Uses equipment as required upon completion of training
- Cleans and prepares floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas as necessary
- Cleans and polishes furniture
- Disposes of all waste, including bulk trash removal from hall and participates in recycling program as required
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
