Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
  • ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods
  • knowledge of various cleaning compounds
  • ability to lift and push/pull objects up to 50 lbs
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • ability to handle indoor and outdoor work environments

  • background in chemical safety

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
  • experience using cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
  • background in handling and mixing cleaning chemicals

Job Duties

  • Keep building and property in clean and orderly condition
  • perform routine maintenance activities
  • perform heavy cleaning duties
  • sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors
  • gather and empty trash
  • scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities
  • dust furniture, walls, and equipment
  • clean windows, mirrors, and partitions
  • assist with the set up and tear down of pipe and drape, tables, and chairs
  • manual movement of equipment between storage and event spaces
  • review work assignments with the Operations Manager
  • mix cleaning solutions and use chemical cleaners appropriately
  • clean and polish fixtures and furniture
  • notify managers of repair needs
  • provide excellent customer service
  • communicate and respond via radio to staff calls
  • maintain equipment storage and cleanliness
  • perform other duties as assigned
