Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Minimum two years’ experience in building trades or apprentice training in carpentry, metal, or electrical trades
  • Knowledge of tools and maintenance methods
  • Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Capability to work independently and make decisions
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain at least 8 hours worked per pay period

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Two years’ experience in building trades, maintenance, or custodial work preferred
  • Apprenticeship training in carpentry, metal, or electrical trades preferred
  • General knowledge of common tools and equipment used in building and maintenance trades
  • Knowledge of facilities equipment such as turf painting and removal, basketball floors, ice hockey systems, track wall operations, seating systems, staging setups
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform semi-skilled maintenance and event conversion tasks independently
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor and operate related equipment

Job Duties

  • Responsible for event set-ups and strikes for stadium events, concerts, sports, and convention setups
  • Perform minor repair and maintenance tasks on facility structures and equipment
  • Conduct exterior maintenance including snow removal
  • Plan and organize daily tasks effectively
  • Operate specialized equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, tractors, electric carts, and snow blowers
  • Employ skills in building trades including carpentry, metalwork, and electrical work as needed
  • Promote internal and external guest services including cooperation with coworkers and event attendees
