Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, airport management, or a related field
  • Valid CLASS D driver's license
  • Ability to obtain Air Operations Area (AOA) clearance within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check including criminal history, credit, motor vehicle, drug screening, and breath alcohol test
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
  • Willingness to follow all airport safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain regular and on-time attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, airport management, or a related field
  • Valid CLASS D driver's license
  • Air Operations Area (AOA) clearance within 90 days of hire
  • Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) preferred
  • Remote Pilot License (FAA Part 107) preferred

Job Duties

  • Make critical operational decisions to maintain compliance, safety, and the airport experience
  • Organize and enforce procedures for airside safety during construction and irregular operations
  • Report deficiencies and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Assist in enforcing operating rules, regulations, contracts, and lease agreements
  • Participate in airside construction design and planning to ensure compliance with signs, markings, and lighting
  • Coordinate aircraft de-icing operations on the terminal ramp
  • Inspect and monitor airside activities including air carrier, cargo, and fixed base operations
  • Ensure continuous services during emergencies, wildlife mitigation, and severe weather
  • Conduct movement area driver training on the airfield
  • Coordinate with MNAA departments to ensure exemplary customer experience
  • Adhere to wildlife management procedures
  • Collect data and create reports on customer experiences and airside efficiencies
  • Maintain records for compliance
  • Assist with operations policies, airport certifications, plans, and procedures maintenance
  • Support training requirements and maintain personnel records
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies
  • Support the Airport's Unmanned Aerial Systems program
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Follow all safety regulations
  • Support MNAA's core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence (RISE)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
