Job Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in cargo aviation and ground operations
- Professional and technical knowledge in regards to the air cargo industry
- Be proactive and take initiative
- Maintain professionalism and technical knowledge by attending regular Cargolux in-house trainings as required, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
- Ability to walk, bend, lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs and go up/down stairs
- Flexibility with working hours
- Regular presence in the office
- Based in Chicago, Illinois

Job Duties
- Ensure the correct execution of the various tasks concerning freight acceptance and handling
- Ensure flight and ground operations are performed in accordance with the company’s quality system as described in the Ground Operations Manual
- Comply with all local and international rules and regulations relating to safety and security
- Monitor and report accidents, incidents, and other ground occurrences including reporting dangerous goods incidents to appropriate authorities
- Coordinate activities in the event of an accident or incident in the station according to the company’s emergency manual
