Job Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in cargo aviation and ground operations
  • Professional and technical knowledge in regards to the air cargo industry
  • Be proactive and take initiative
  • Maintain professionalism and technical knowledge by attending regular Cargolux in-house trainings as required, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
  • Ability to walk, bend, lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs and go up/down stairs
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Regular presence in the office
  • Based in Chicago, Illinois

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure the correct execution of the various tasks concerning freight acceptance and handling
  • Ensure flight and ground operations are performed in accordance with the company’s quality system as described in the Ground Operations Manual
  • Comply with all local and international rules and regulations relating to safety and security
  • Monitor and report accidents, incidents, and other ground occurrences including reporting dangerous goods incidents to appropriate authorities
  • Coordinate activities in the event of an accident or incident in the station according to the company’s emergency manual
