Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree or higher preferred or two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Forklift certification
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and palletizing equipment
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to climb stairs regularly
- Ability to perform quality and food safety checks
- Ability to follow safety and GMP procedures
- Passing of background and drug screens
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Operate all energized and non-energized forklift and palletizing equipment
- Monitor and fix faults as well as clear any material jams in palletizing robot
- Pick and load outbound trucks as per paperwork
- Unload and put away inbound trucks
- Monitor raw packaging material and supplies to ensure it is supplied efficiently to support production
- Maintain ingredients and material in a First In First Out basis (FIFO)
- Perform routine maintenance as directed on all forklift and palletizing equipment and document parts needed
- Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required
- Maintain clean and organized area around equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
- Complete inspections of all critical parameters
- Work independently and professionally with team members
- Complete all required paperwork neatly and professionally
- Proficient and comfortable using a computer
- Perform various quality and food safety checks to ensure standards and specifications are met
- Communicate delays or problems to facility personnel
- Follow all safety, food safety, quality procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Responsible for proper shift handoff with operators
- Wear all required personal protective equipment
- Demonstrate leadership and ownership of department and job responsibilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned
