Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • 5+ years experience in food and beverage management role at an attraction, tourist attraction, hotel, or similar environment
  • highly analytical mindset with creative thinking skills
  • working knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
  • strong communication skills including writing and presenting
  • fluent in English
  • computer knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • basic knowledge of POS preferred
  • flexibility to perform multiple tasks and work under stress
  • strong people management skills
  • dependable attendance
  • flexibility with work schedules including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • working knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
  • necessary State Food Handler's and Liquor Service Licenses
  • able to carry 25 pounds up and down stairs

Job Qualifications

  • strong communication skills including writing contracts, reports, and business correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • working knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
  • computer proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • basic knowledge of POS systems is preferable
  • strong people management skills including coaching, motivating, delegating, scheduling, and relationship-building
  • ability to think creatively and understand complex business dynamics
  • fluent in English for reading, writing, and speaking
  • ability to perform multiple tasks in stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Oversee front and back of house service for bar, restaurant, kitchen, and events to optimize efficiency and service excellence
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of guest-facing areas to ensure seamless workflows, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
  • Assist in oversight of museum and tour operations and managing the online ticketing system as needed
  • Oversee interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management for food and beverage and guest experience teams
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment encouraging teamwork, creativity, and professional growth
  • Implement and oversee training programs for service standards, guest engagement, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Act as primary contact for health inspections maintaining an excellent rating
  • Create and maintain operational SOPs in collaboration with supervisors
  • Collaborate to enhance guest experience through menus, cocktails, and service
  • Oversee catering and event planning ensuring coordination across departments
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Handle team scheduling and labor cost control
  • Participate in Manager on Duty coverage and other duties as assigned
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and operational documentation timely and accurately
