Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with at least 4 years of non-profit and/or social work experience or equivalent combination
- Degree in social work or experience working with families in crisis preferred
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with management, staff, and the public
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting business documents, reports, and manuals
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of office management and organizational practices
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
- California Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work independently and handle emergencies
- Willingness to provide day-of support at fundraising events
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage a team of full- and part-time Guest Services Associates to ensure proper staffing seven days a week 24 hours a day
- Oversee daily family services including guest referrals, eligibility, registration, room assignments, and payments in accordance with policies
- Communicate regularly with referral sources such as hospital social workers regarding family dynamics and needs
- Foster an atmosphere of warmth, empathy, and respect reflecting core values in all staff-family interactions
- Develop and implement guest service training programs to ensure optimal care of families
- Serve as primary liaison to medical partner social workers and manage the referral process
- Supervise referral calls for admissions and reservations ensuring timely and compassionate execution
- Oversee facility maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, groundskeeping, security, and decorations
- Coordinate service contracts, negotiate with vendors, and manage facility inventory
- Identify and coordinate volunteer support for facilities projects to enhance family experiences
- Manage common areas and inventory of supplies ensuring readiness and benefit to families
- Maintain accurate family records, track statistics, and prepare monthly reports
- Be available to respond to emergencies and urgent situations during nights and weekends
- Work with third-party vendors to maximize support for family stays
- Support fundraising events and uphold RMHC Global brand standards as a brand steward
