Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of operational and people management experience in logistics
  • 1+ years of inventory management experience
  • experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • high school diploma or GED
  • knowledge of building materials market
  • bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field is desired
  • SAP experience is desirable
  • forklift experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare appropriate documentation for loading and unloading trucks and containers
  • organize and maintain delivery schedule daily with efficient route planning
  • ensure quality control by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damage
  • operate within standard operating procedures and job safety analysis
  • lead and maintain a safe working area ensuring health and safety processes and procedures are met
  • assist with system order entry and customer delivery schedules
  • manage inventory control and product movement within the warehouse
