Job Requirements

  • 2 years of college
  • or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

  • knowledge of retail operations and financial management

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of college
  • or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • bachelor of science in business management and leadership preferred
  • experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing preferred

Job Duties

  • assist store manager in driving financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals
  • review and evaluate profit and loss statements
  • control expenses to align with sales
  • develop and implement plans to correct financial deficiencies
  • participate in economic trend and community needs analysis for budget forecasting
  • ensure compliance with company policies and hold associates accountable
  • analyze and interpret operational reports
  • implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls
  • maintain quality assurance standards
  • oversee safety and operational reviews
  • develop action plans to address deficiencies
  • provide supervision and development for hourly associates including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and recognition
  • communicate expectations clearly and consistently
  • model exceptional customer service standards and manage customer service initiatives
  • ensure swift and effective resolution of customer complaints and issues
  • provide leadership for process improvements
  • initiate and participate in community outreach programs
  • establish and maintain relationships with community groups and individuals
  • represent company in external organizations
  • champion company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts
