Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including holidays and weekends
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle sensitive employee and guest matters professionally
- Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of hotel operations
- Previous Marriott experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage difficult guest situations
- Demonstrated ability to foster team spirit and commitment
- Experience with guest service training and quality control
Job Duties
- Assists the General Manager in leading departmental teams in property-wide strategy development and implementation
- Oversees hotel departments including rooms division and food and beverage outlets to maintain optimal service levels
- Assists in financial forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring to maximize revenue and control expenses
- Reviews performance data and financial reports to identify cost reduction and operational improvement opportunities
- Monitors and maintains front office systems and equipment for optimum performance
- Ensures compliance with key control and safety programs
- Provides leadership in customer service training and manages guest satisfaction initiatives
- Supports staff hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance assessments
- Resolves guest complaints proactively and ensures staffing meets service demands
- Leads quality control efforts and participates in the hotel safety committee
