Job Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in offsite catering or food and beverage operations
  • Positions in food and beverage, banquets, event coordination, and operations management are strongly related
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles, catering equipment, and back-of-house operations
  • Must live near or be willing to relocate to Dallas, TX
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Customer service skills with a desire to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods and travel between venues

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in offsite catering or food and beverage operations
  • Knowledge of upscale and VIP service styles
  • Familiarity with catering equipment and back-of-house operations
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Proven customer service skills with client-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail and quick adaptability

Job Duties

  • Attend weekly BEO meetings and maintain open communication with sales, operations, and culinary teams
  • Prepare organizational documents including pull sheets, equipment plans, menu signage, and event binders
  • Oversee event logistics from setup through pack-up and redistribution
  • Provide managerial guidance to event staff including drivers, captains, servers, and chefs
  • Serve as the primary point of communication between Proof of the Pudding and clients
  • Coach staff on buffet and beverage display standards
  • Ensure proper linen return and facilitate pickup
  • Assist in training hourly new hires
  • Maintain staff morale and culture aligned with company values
  • Perform other duties as required
