Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel operations experience
  • Three to five years of management experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Good verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to work varying schedules
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally
  • Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three to five years of management experience in hotel operations
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs and hospitality industry systems preferred
  • Strong leadership and customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local employment and safety laws
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Self-driven and able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, direct, and manage hotel operations to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Work with management team to oversee employees, maintenance, sales, and profit/loss controls
  • Maximize revenues through up-sell programs and occupancy strategies
  • Set quarterly departmental goals and monitor progress
  • Ensure service and product quality standards are met
  • Maintain standards of guest services and a consistent positive experience
  • Oversee Front Desk, Activities, and Bar operations for service excellence and inventory accuracy
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, government regulations, and safety standards
  • Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Monitor staff performance and provide timely feedback
  • Attend operational and departmental meetings
  • Recommend improvements to practices and procedures
  • Manage supplies inventories
  • Promote safe work habits and OSHA compliance
