Job Requirements

  • Minimum ten years experience in military petroleum storage and distribution
  • at least five years supervisory or managerial experience in aircraft refueling operations
  • five years fuels project or operations management at corporate or contractor level
  • prior military service at E-8 rank or higher
  • computer literacy
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ability to obtain or maintain government security clearance or favorable background investigation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior military service at E-8 rank or higher including Air Force Specialty Codes 2F091 or 3E4X1
  • minimum of ten years experience in military petroleum storage and distribution operations for military aircraft and ships
  • experience in ground fuel services, bulk fuel systems maintenance including recurring maintenance and system maintenance tasks per UFC 3-460-03
  • fuel testing and maintenance/repair of fuel handling equipment and facilities
  • at least five years of supervisory or managerial experience in aircraft refueling operations, inspections, environmental compliance, inventory management, and equipment inspections within the last seven years
  • at least five years of fuels project or operations management experience at the corporate or contractor level
  • excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • computer literate
  • ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance and/or favorable background investigation

Job Duties

  • Plans, organizes, and controls the overall activities of the contract at all geographically dispersed sites
  • understands government contract solicitations and request for proposal process
  • attends contract preproposals and assists in writing proposal subfactors for technical management
  • calculates workforce and equipment requirements
  • serves as primary interface with government representatives including Contracting Officers and Defense Logistics Agency officials
  • advises corporate leadership on recurring maintenance and minor repair programs
  • assists in identifying and providing required maintenance services through Facility Maintenance Plans
  • manages equipment, supplies, personnel, and activities assigned to operations
  • ensures contractor-performed activities comply with contract terms
  • monitors key performance indicators and contractual expenditures
  • serves as primary point of contact for technical and task-related matters
  • directs resources and develops quarterly goals to ensure efficient operations
  • provides assistance to subordinates in resolving work-related issues
  • conducts quality assurance programs per contract requirements
  • provides status reports to senior management and government representatives
  • offers subject matter expert guidance for strategic company growth
  • coordinates with host nation representatives, U.S. government officials, and joint venture partners as required
