Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of directly related management experience
  • Ability to manage variable production systems and schedules
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience leading process improvements in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Understanding of customer needs and quality standards
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and computer applications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of management experience in a related field
  • Experience with Variable Production Systems and schedules
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proven success in improving work processes and leading change
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Demonstrable customer service orientation
  • Proven record of managing product and labor cost variances
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications

Job Duties

  • Strategically plan, organize, and manage daily operations with regards to hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety
  • Responsible for department costs to budget through effective manpower planning, scheduling and overtime usage
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, FDA, HACCP, safety, health, environmental and other regulations
  • Ensure on-time and accurate production in the preparation of food, equipment and catering of flights
  • Investigate customer quality issues and develop and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain positive and proactive relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Attend the daily operations briefing
  • Ensure par levels of customer inventory and customer-specific goods
  • Provide data for annual business plan and budgeting
  • Ensure optimal deployment of human, technical and material resources
  • Initiate and control continuous optimization of processes
  • Ensure the area is properly organized, staffed and directed
  • Guide, motivate and develop employees within Human Resources Policy
  • Participate in coaching the Global Performance System process and career development activities
  • Make company values and management principles live in the department
  • Plan, implement and control cost budget and initiate corrective actions when needed
  • Participate and support company-sponsored initiatives such as Global Quality Standard, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety
