Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years transportation management experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and industry transportation laws
  • Experience working with FMCSA regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to develop and maintain employee relationships
  • Experience managing multi-level teams

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of progressive transportation management experience
  • Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and industry laws
  • Experience with FMCSA regulations as prescribed by the US Department of Transportation
  • Excellent employee relationship skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Monitor policies, standards, and operating procedures daily
  • Oversee daily operations and troubleshoot potential issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with employees and operators
  • Develop, coach, and mentor high potential employees
  • Assist with recruiting new talent
  • Ensure the highest level of safety compliance
  • Assist in accident and incident investigations
  • Control direct costs and manage operations budgets
  • Ensure all routes run safely, reliably, and on-time
