Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing customer service and promoting client relations
- Must have a minimum of 5 years management experience in transportation/logistics including managing a large driver team
- Requires experience with FMCS regulations as prescribed by US Department of Transportation
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required including weekends
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must have excellent communications skills in English including written communications and presentations
- Ability to learn specialized programs including GPS-based systems and vehicle database management
- Must have intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Must set an example as a leader including work ethics, hours, attire, attitude, communications, timeliness and integrity
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in customer service management and client relations
- At least 5 years management experience in transportation/logistics with large driver teams
- Knowledge of FMCS regulations by US Department of Transportation
- Excellent English communication including written and presentations
- Ability to learn and operate specialized programs including GPS systems and databases
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership example in ethics, attire, and work attitude
Job Duties
- Manage employee workforce including timekeeping and disciplinary actions
- Oversee operational training and employee oversight
- Ensure timely completion of routes and runs with updated driver information
- Collaborate closely with Dispatch to manage route coverage and service disruptions
- Monitor safety and compliance and report incidents promptly
- Motivate driver team and handle employee communications empathetically
- Manage documentation including daily activity and ridership reports
- Engage in union activities including contract negotiations and grievance handling
- Work with HR on recruiting, record maintenance, and employee satisfaction
