Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school graduate or GED
  • 3 or more years audiovisual technical experience
  • at least 1 year supervisory experience
  • knowledge of audiovisual equipment and computer software systems
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts

Job Qualifications

  • AA or BS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years audiovisual technical experience
  • at least 1 year supervisory experience
  • extensive knowledge of audiovisual equipment and software
  • proven leadership and team management skills
  • strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Manage audio visual systems in event venues
  • track technical needs for events
  • schedule and train AV technicians
  • provide technical support during events
  • interview, select, and coach employees
  • conduct performance appraisals
  • resolve employee and guest challenges
  • schedule staff to accommodate business demands
  • plan and direct technicians' work
  • research new audio visual technologies and equipment
  • communicate effectively with guests, management, and employees
  • support property-wide safety and training programs
