Job Requirements

  • must successfully pass background check
  • cpr certification required within 30 days of hire
  • must be knowledgeable and up to date on all company policies and standard operating procedures
  • ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors and rooms
  • ability to communicate with employees, members, and the public
  • ability to access and operate company computer systems for document preparation, data entry, and report reading
  • ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of operations management experience
  • 3-4 years of customer service experience
  • strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus
  • excellent relationship building and influencing skills
  • strong detail orientation and systematic problem-solving abilities
  • good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills
  • excellent MS Office skills
  • embrace core values of the company

Job Duties

  • lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere and be great hosts
  • greet and direct members, guests, and team members upon entry
  • address member concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
  • hire, train, schedule, and supervise front desk, kids club, and janitorial staff
  • communicate goals, expectations, and procedures clearly to staff
  • provide constructive feedback to improve staff performance
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper certifications
  • supervise maintenance and cleanliness of gym equipment, locker rooms, and common areas
  • partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams to improve gym performance and uphold brand standards
  • monitor and order inventory including fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products
  • communicate calmly and clearly during emergencies or unexpected disruptions
