Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in hotel operations management or similar leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in hotel management software and systems
- Knowledge of budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring departments function efficiently and meet service standards
- Assist in hiring training and managing staff ensuring a motivated team
- Handle guest complaints resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory requirements including brand standards and company policies
- Collaborate with sales to promote the property and increase occupancy and revenue
- Step into the General Manager’s role in their absence making critical decisions
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the property
