Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations or management preferred
  • proficiency in hospitality software systems such as PMS and POS
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • ability to handle guest complaints diplomatically
  • knowledge of health safety and regulatory compliance standards
  • must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • prior experience in hotel operations management or similar role
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • proven customer service excellence
  • understanding of budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
  • familiarity with hotel management software like PMS and POS
  • ability to multitask and prioritize operational tasks
  • problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring departments such as front desk and housekeeping function efficiently and meet service standards
  • actively support sales team in prospecting and maintaining group and negotiated business
  • assist in hiring training and managing staff ensuring a motivated team that delivers exceptional guest experience
  • handle guest complaints resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards
  • ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory requirements including brand standards and company policies
  • collaborate with sales team to promote the property and increase occupancy and revenue
  • act as General Manager in their absence making critical decisions and ensuring seamless operations
