Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel
- minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- proficiency with Windows and office software
- ability to work long hours
- physical ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize
- maintain regular attendance
- maintain grooming standards including wearing nametags
- comply with safety and operational standards
- effective problem-solving and confidentiality maintenance
- perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel
- 2+ years previous supervisory responsibilities
- proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns from employees and guests
- ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- friendly, courteous and service-oriented approach to guests and employees
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming

Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with managing the Front Office operation
- provide support to other departments including F&B, Housekeeping, and Engineering
- provide strong lobby presence to assist front desk agents and guests
- provide all aspects of shift coverage in F&B operations as needed
- balance the hotel room type inventory
- ensure all areas of Front Desk and F&B operations meet Paramount standards including cleanliness and signage
- monitor and action upsell program
- handle guest special requests and customer complaints during shifts
- perform all other front desk duties and responsibilities
- investigate and handle complaints, disturbances, emergencies during shifts
- manage employee payroll, track attendance using Dayforce, conduct time edits and call-arounds for overtime
- coach, train, counsel hourly associates and administer discipline as needed
- perform night audit functions and produce reports
- prepare, copy and distribute required reports
- handle special guest requests
- attend and contribute to periodic employee meetings
- attend all required hotel meetings and trainings
- participate in M.O.D. coverage as required
