Job Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, twist, and reach overhead or below the waist
  • navigate stairs, move quickly, and stay on your feet throughout the shift
  • take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and communicate clearly
  • work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients like oil and flour
  • maintain a clean, safe restaurant while following all food safety and company procedures
  • occasionally drive on behalf of the company for work-related purposes such as picking up product for the restaurant when required by business needs
  • reasonable accommodation may be provided to support individuals with disabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3 plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
  • must complete all required Raising Cane's company training programs
  • able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems
  • proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

Job Duties

  • Execute restaurant operations functions
  • act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
  • manage cash handling and ensure accountability
  • enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • execute shift management meeting operations and safety standards
  • use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • deploy crewmembers during a shift
  • provide exemplary customer service
  • utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • authorize employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides
  • ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and facility maintenance
  • complete other duties as assigned
