Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of terminal operations
- Proficient computer skills including AS/400 and MS Office
- Strong leadership capability including hiring, coaching, counseling, training and terminating employees
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of hazardous materials preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Availability for 50 hours per week on average
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and various shifts
- Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
- Compliance with company policies and code of conduct
- Ability to interact well with others
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and high volume environments
- Ability to effectively read and interpret safety and operational information
- Must pass drug screenings and background checks
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

- Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of terminal operations
- Proficient with computer systems including AS/400 and MS Office
- Strong leadership skills with hiring, coaching, training and terminating staff
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of hazardous materials preferred
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work 50 hours per week on average
- Willingness to work any shift including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds

Job Duties
- Lead and guide terminal employees including setting targets, monitoring performance, coaching, counseling and development
- Recruit, hire, train and terminate employees in compliance with company policies
- Plan and set up schedules for dock operations ensuring efficiency and safety
- Manage terminal operations during absence of terminal management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules and government regulations
- Monitor pickup, delivery and billing accuracy of freight
- Oversee safe loading and distribution of freight and enforce safety measures for balanced truck operations
