Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in facilities operations, groundskeeping/landscaping, parks and recreation, janitorial operations, public space administration, or event management
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lead by example with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Competence in making decisions based on available information
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Flexibility to work outside typical business hours
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team
  • Adjusting the deployment of resources to match changing needs
  • Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality
  • Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Reporting outcomes through various channels such as spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, and budgets
  • Providing hands-on working management in the field with coaching, mentoring, and continuous training
  • Leading a team to continuously improve the quality of the program and visitor experience
