Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more employees
- Operations responsibility for a $5-10 million wholesale warehouse facility
- Computer skills including MS Office and inventory management software
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of industrial product lines helpful
- To be 18 years of age or older

- Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing, electrical, HVAC supplies is helpful

Job Duties
- Hires, trains, directs and manages all warehouse staff including warehouse associates and drivers
- Reviews open sales orders, purchase orders, vendor claims, and transfers
- Ensures warehouse safety procedures are followed
- Consults with regional buyers and vendors on product pricing, availability, and delivery
- Manages inventory, controls stock outs, and reduces excessive inventory
- Performs cycle counts to prevent inventory shrink
- Manages freight expenses and approves invoices for payment
- Handles accounts payable discrepancies
- Supervises order routing, loading, and preparation for shipment
- Trains new employees on warehouse and distribution procedures
- Discusses defective goods with relevant personnel and takes corrective action
- Supports sales staff in meeting sales targets
- Performs other non-essential duties as assigned
