Job Requirements
- 3+ years of previous hotel management experience preferred
- Food and beverage experience preferred
- Previous hotel leadership experience with proven success
- Ability to coach, train, praise, and discipline employees effectively and consistently
- At least a high school diploma, with a college degree preferred
- Extensive financial knowledge and strong business acumen
- Valid driver’s license from the appropriate state
- Drive for results demonstrated through successful performance in prior leadership positions
- Action orientation to work efficiently and effectively toward operational objectives
- Strong time management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles
- Customer focus to consistently deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- This position does not require travel

Job Duties
- Coach and support hotel team to effectively manage wages and controllable expenses
- Manage costs within the hotel including supplies, utilities, food and beverage, and labor expenses to budgeted parameters
- Ensure service, technical skills, and training occur throughout property
- Oversee housekeeping department to maintain cleanliness and functionality
- Review financial reports and develop strategies to improve performance
- Establish collaborative relationships with team and encourage feedback
- Hire team members with strong expertise and leadership
- Foster team member commitment to exceptional service
- Serve as guest advocate to resolve issues and improve satisfaction
- Monitor team service behaviors and provide feedback
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements
- Maintain building and operational areas to meet guest expectations
- Oversee team performance and remove obstacles to success
- Inspire and motivate teams for operational excellence
- Administer policies fairly and evaluate performance
- Ensure property meets franchise standards and safety protocols
- Communicate and ensure execution of emergency procedures
