Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of international freight forwarding experience
- At least 3 years of P&L responsibility
- 3 years of operations supervisory experience
- Experience managing teams
- Knowledge of diversified freight forwarding environments preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of international freight forwarding, airfreight, and ocean freight experience
- 3+ years of P&L management experience
- 3+ years of operations supervisory experience managing a team
- Prior experience in diversified freight forwarding industry preferred
- International freight forwarding industry experience required
- Operational and P&L management of global products in high performance settings
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Advanced computer skills
- IATA certification preferred
- Dangerous goods certification preferred
Job Duties
- Develop and execute the station's operations strategy
- Ensure processes and metrics achieve growth, service, and profitability goals
- Manage and communicate with carriers to ensure best value and service
- Negotiate and execute freight forwarding carrier agreements
- Ensure providers meet and adhere to service logistics agreements and terms
- Track performance and develop strategic processes to improve efficiencies and reduce lead times
- Build client rapport and create key visual tools and tracking processes
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees globally
- Support key account operations requirements to ensure service execution and reliability
