Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of international freight forwarding experience
  • At least 3 years of P&L responsibility
  • 3 years of operations supervisory experience
  • Experience managing teams
  • Knowledge of diversified freight forwarding environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of international freight forwarding, airfreight, and ocean freight experience
  • 3+ years of P&L management experience
  • 3+ years of operations supervisory experience managing a team
  • Prior experience in diversified freight forwarding industry preferred
  • International freight forwarding industry experience required
  • Operational and P&L management of global products in high performance settings
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Advanced computer skills
  • IATA certification preferred
  • Dangerous goods certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute the station's operations strategy
  • Ensure processes and metrics achieve growth, service, and profitability goals
  • Manage and communicate with carriers to ensure best value and service
  • Negotiate and execute freight forwarding carrier agreements
  • Ensure providers meet and adhere to service logistics agreements and terms
  • Track performance and develop strategic processes to improve efficiencies and reduce lead times
  • Build client rapport and create key visual tools and tracking processes
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees globally
  • Support key account operations requirements to ensure service execution and reliability
