Job Duties
- Direct and guide the work of teams across multiple manufacturing areas
- Manage two or more direct reports including supervisors and professionals
- Monitor and achieve operational and financial goals within the area of responsibility
- Conduct people management activities such as hiring, training, rewarding, and terminating employees
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term challenges
- Solve problems following operational policies while understanding the broader departmental impact
- Interact frequently with internal and external representatives to resolve operational and scheduling issues
