Job Requirements

  • College degree in hospitality or hotel management preferred
  • 4-6 years of relevant hotel operations or supervisory experience
  • Previous experience with Marriott properties preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Marriott PMS and related systems including FOSSE, POS, Delphi
  • Ability to manage multiple departments simultaneously
  • Experience in financial monitoring and labor cost control
  • Must be able to work on-site in Charleston, SC

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred
  • 4-6 years of hotel operations or supervisory experience
  • Marriott experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Proven ability to manage operations in a high-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Proficiency in operational and financial analysis
  • Working knowledge of FOSSE

Job Duties

  • Oversee the operations of the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage outlets, Banquets, and Culinary departments
  • Set departmental objectives, measure performance, and coach department leaders
  • Utilize systems such as FOSSE (Marriott PMS), POS, Delphi, and Time & Attendance
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and associated accounting functions
  • Monitor and analyze operational and financial reports, ensuring effective labor and cost controls
  • Support and execute hotel events and special functions
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, especially within F&B areas
