Job Requirements
- 3+ years of hotel management experience preferred
- Food and beverage experience preferred
- Previous hotel leadership experience with proven team leading success
- Ability to coach, train, praise, and discipline employees effectively and consistently
- Minimum high school diploma, college degree preferred
- Extensive financial knowledge and strong business acumen
- Valid driver's license from appropriate state
- Demonstrated drive for results through successful leadership performance
- Action orientation to work efficiently toward objectives
- Strong time management skills
- Customer focus to deliver employee and customer satisfaction
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
- No travel required

Job Duties
- Coach and support hotel team to effectively manage wages and controllable expenses
- Manage costs within the hotel including supplies, utilities, food and beverage and labor expenses to within budgeted parameters
- Ensure service, technical skills and other training occurs throughout the property to support successful daily operations
- Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the rooms and entire building of the hotel
- Effectively run and oversee the housekeeping department ensuring effective daily operations
- Review financial reports and statements to understand performance versus budget and develop strategies to improve
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with direct reports and team
- Hire team members demonstrating strong expertise, creativity, and leadership
- Foster team commitment to exceptional service and model desired service behaviors
- Serve as guest advocate to resolve guest and operational issues
- Be visible and interface regularly with customers to gather feedback
- Observe service behaviors and provide feedback to improve
- Review guest feedback and identify improvement areas
- Analyze service issues and develop creative solutions
- Ensure building is well maintained and operational areas meet guest expectations
- Make decisions and oversee team performance to achieve business results
- Inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence
- Ensure policies are administered fairly and performance recognized
- Ensure property meets franchise standards and is safe and secure
- Communicate and ensure execution of emergency procedures
