Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
- valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- ability to pass drug test and background checks
- minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- minimum 3 years forklift experience

- Minimum of 3 years forklift experience
- 2 years prior supervisory experience
- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- ability to use office software, electronic mail and CRM
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations
- ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- critical thinking and problem solving skills
- ability to motivate and develop staff
- familiarity with PeopleNet or equivalent driver monitoring systems
Job Duties
- Supervise a crew of 6-10 warehouse employees
- select, develop and motivate assigned warehouse personnel
- motivate and encourage teamwork to ensure set productivity targets are met
- conduct a daily safety walk-through to ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe
- enforce company policies of conduct and safety and initiate disciplinary action as needed
- conduct monthly safety meetings and quarterly driver safety meetings
- ensure inventory accuracy by conducting daily cycle counts and taking corrective action for product losses
- implement and maintain bin location system for storage and picking
- assist warehouse employees in loading and unloading trucks including staging trucks for night loading
- control costs through personnel productivity and efficient storage utilization
- optimize dock usage, warehouse layout and truck loading to minimize loading time
- maintain planned maintenance of equipment in accordance with OSHA and Federal DOT standards
- manage PeopleNet system to monitor driver hours and compliance
- plan and organize material transportation routes for efficient delivery
- perform other assigned responsibilities
