Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in the hotel or restaurant industry
  • strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage service
  • proven experience in inventory control, shift management, and cost control
  • excellent leadership skills
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in accordance with company standards
  • train and develop staff members with a focus on back of house operations
  • create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
  • handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
  • collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation
  • keep an eye on food waste and inventory levels and fix any food quality issues
  • order inventory through our multiple vendors, receiving and checking the quality
  • promote a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house teammates
  • communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure great service and speed
  • keep the kitchen clean and sanitized
  • check kitchen equipment and make sure it is working well
  • get it fixed fast if it is not
  • make sure the kitchen and team meet safety guidelines to prevent accidents
  • fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and do Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
  • ability to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 lbs
