Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • availability for a minimum of 12 weeks during summer
  • ability to work Monday to Friday day shift schedule
  • basic proficiency with computer software
  • willingness to participate in training and mentorship
  • responsible for own housing and relocation expenses
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • open to graduates up to 1 year past graduation
  • proficient in data analysis and software tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work full-time during the internship period
  • interest in HVAC industry and distribution operations
  • background in robotics is helpful

Job Duties

  • learn Gensco's customer service philosophy and operating processes
  • participate in training across branch operations including will-call, receiving, cycle counting, order writing, deliveries, and customer service
  • perform job functions in warehouse, delivery, administration, and inside sales support
  • work with technology and automation systems especially at South Distribution Center
  • analyze data and create reports using software such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and analytics platforms
  • collaborate on projects to showcase skills and talents
  • attend Intern Huddle Up event and participate in job shadowing opportunities
