Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability for a minimum of 12 weeks during summer
- ability to work Monday to Friday day shift schedule
- basic proficiency with computer software
- willingness to participate in training and mentorship
- responsible for own housing and relocation expenses
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- open to graduates up to 1 year past graduation
- proficient in data analysis and software tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work full-time during the internship period
- interest in HVAC industry and distribution operations
- background in robotics is helpful
Job Duties
- learn Gensco's customer service philosophy and operating processes
- participate in training across branch operations including will-call, receiving, cycle counting, order writing, deliveries, and customer service
- perform job functions in warehouse, delivery, administration, and inside sales support
- work with technology and automation systems especially at South Distribution Center
- analyze data and create reports using software such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and analytics platforms
- collaborate on projects to showcase skills and talents
- attend Intern Huddle Up event and participate in job shadowing opportunities
