Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks including lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing
  • Capacity to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and light power-driven machines
  • Willingness to work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills in oral and written form
  • Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to facility policies
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing work conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • One to three months related experience or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of event setup and conversion procedures
  • Familiarity with cleaning and maintenance practices
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow safety, risk management, and emergency procedures
  • Physical capability to perform strenuous duties including lifting and moving
  • Experience operating equipment such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, Zamboni, and scrubbing machines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with clients and team members
  • Valid driver's license and insurance to operate a motor vehicle
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations

Job Duties

  • Participate in all aspects of event conversion, including setup and teardown of flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, staging, and equipment
  • Perform day-to-day operational duties such as loading/unloading trucks, waste disposal, and supply replenishment
  • Assist with pre and post-event cleaning including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, carpet and window cleaning
  • Conduct repair and maintenance tasks including painting, patching, re-lamping, and ceiling tile replacement
  • Support building engineers and subcontractors in construction, repair, and maintenance projects
  • Report any irregularities, safety concerns, or property loss promptly to supervisor
  • Work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Assist in ice rink maintenance, including ice repair, hockey wall upkeep, and ice system operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
